Hi Reese,
You have summed up in five stanzas what I took thousands of words to say in defense of Creation vs. the theory of evolution and its ugly step-child, eugenics. Evolution attempts to justify racism.
To me, one of the big four reasons that evolution doesn't pass the giggle test is the vast variety of life and the interdependence of all living things, which you mention. That could not have happened through a series of benign accidents. I also wrote about arriving on the scene ready to learn, create and transfer knowledge.
I'd say we are pretty much in tune with each other both spiritually and intellectually.

I wish my wife were as nice to me as you are! Glad I could buttress your own positions, albeit in my down-home simple way. I do not understand how some people can believe that all the wonder of life around us happened by evolution from a swamp. They, indeed, have a higher level of "faith" than I. Have a great Sunday of love and laughter!

I listened to the editor of the top physicist's journal on Mark Levin. He openly stated that the best physicists consider evolution as a myth. He also commented that upon looking at earth, there are two immediate observations: (1) life is everywhere; and (2) there is man, and there is everything else. Sorry I can't remember his name. Evolution defies all logic, and I am always amazed at how many "smart" people have been indoctrinated to accept it as fact and look down on "evolution deniers."

Your poem is excellent. The rhyme scheme is excellent and consistent through your poem. The meter or the natural rhythm is also consistent throughout you poem. The content of your poem is well thought out and beautifully expressed.

Good thoughts on facts for faith. What we see before us is such proof of God's existence. Good closing verse.
Strong rhymes and many of your lines are in iambic meter. You might look into trying to write in meter.
Love the image you selected to accompany your poem.
Blessings,
Maria C.

Thank you for taking time out of your Saturday night and the Derby to read my poem and write a review! Your words are very kind. My usual writing meter is iambic-Dr. Seuss ( which means, "start with pentameter, but to stray is O.K., it doesn't matter!"

Interesting. My faith has followed a similar metamorphosis throughout my life. There is so much to wonder at here on earth that one doesn't need to build myths of heaven and hell.
