Ciao mystery poet ,there was a lot of competition but in the end I gave you my vote.. you have three now.

Such a lovely pic ..reading your poem put a smile on my face .

That must be a male grizzly .. they, like their female counterparts, HIT the den in Winter too.

Male Polar bears and Black bears don't hibernate .. the prior has much food /meat available whilst the latter lives on acorns, beech nuts etc .
