Absolutely beautiful! So many things I liked about your 2-4-2.
-the overall presentation; color scheme, larger font
-p's and b's: tulips, bloom, pink, blush
-s's: sun's and kiss
-a poem of romance, growth between the tulip and the sun

P.S. My normal type style is most often bolded text, 22 point, centered lines, and Serif font. Rarely do I ever drop down to 18 point. My color scheme tries to complement my selected illustration.

Many memories come to mind when talking about tulips.
Our first tulips we ever planted we received from our now old family friend Sonoko who mailed us a dozen tiny bulbs from Japan.
Pa and I were excited to see the colours.
Obviously Holland comes to mind when talking about tulips ..
... my mother who was born in The Hague was lucky her father, my grandfather, found food thanks to a relative that had a farm in the country side
But many city dwellers weren't that fortunate
at least 20.000 during the last winter 44-45 , died of hunger..those that survived ate tulip bulbs .
Lucia my best friend wants to go see them when this damn covid is under control.
Up north there is the annual festival in Keukenhof just 1/2 an hour from Amsterdam..
I already planned our itinerary..we can do it in a week by train sleeping in hotel definitely ( biggrin)

Your vote was important in the final counting since I shared the top step of the contest podium. I have no complaints sharing. I visited Keukenhof twice in the Springtime; Amsterdam four times. The colors are fantastic! Foods and sights are terrific too.

We know it is Spring when the tulips planted 40 years ago still shoot up their leaves. If we are very lucky, sometimes we even see the flower.

Tulips are my favorite flower. I met my future wife in Amsterdam at the end of April. We visited the tulip fields there - spectacular colors and memories!
