Beautiful atmospheric piece. I love the imagery. The sound of rain is always soothing to me. I like the presentation too. Great songs.

This is a clever poem with the songs about rain mentioned here. You have a smooth poetic flow like raindrops falling down that impacts your words.You also have a smooth flow of rhyming words.

This has been a fun poem to read. I did notice several songs throughout the poem. Of course, with each one I noticed, I had to start singing that song until I noticed the next one. LOL I also grew up in the same era as you did by the sounds of the songs mentioned. Great job!

They sure were. Our era's songs will never die. Even with the songs they have now, today's kids still have learned to like our songs from our past, One day my granddaughter was listening to a song and I started singing with the radio. She asked me how I knew that song. I told her that it was an old song that I grew up with. She thought it was a new song, LOL

I definitely picked out the songs, but more than that, I enjoyed the entire poem. I'm a sap and tend to enjoy sad songs and poems as much as I enjoy the happy ones, life is not all rainbows! Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed this very much.
