I love the picture with the sun and the birds... Good choice!

The following paragraph gives the reader a very relaxing feeling; "Mist rises on the satin lake
I gather my rod and coffee to wake.
Resting my paddle, I glide for awhile
my dog turns around and gives me a smile."

I wish I can be there enjoying y coffee...

good poem and words nicely laid out, the picture was exactly right. I could see and hear the sunrise as it welcomed the day. The words were good enough for me to hear the insects as well. good job

I cannot wait to get my kayak on the lake. I really did see a beaver smack it's taoil right in front of me, how cool is that?
Also loons swim close with their weird 'glass' eyes.

This is a real good two stanza poem. I like the descriptive words you have used: satin lake, rippling trail, golden moment. Looks like a very relaxing time to be on the lake - sunrise.
