Ciao ! You have two votes now.

Such a beautiful photo .. I would love to be there to see in persona the mirror image ..I could easily get lost in my thoughts..

Okay , I need to know if you ever skipped stones there .. I couldn't resist.

Already looking for the stone or sizeable pebble is fun ..then skipping them on such a flat surface would be awesome.

You get to see the rings very clearly ..

Just a few shots ..( biggrin)

    Thanks Tempeste.

I have skipped flat stones on other lakes - good memories.

Thanks for your review and vote.

Nice job with your poem. It is a lovely photo that speaks of tranquility. I like how the pond reflects solitude and mirrors silence. Great use of your limited verses. Bravo!

    Thanks D-Junior!

The reflection in the pond was something to see. Thanks for your peek at my short style poetry and entry.

Nice poem. I absolutely love the picture. Here in Alaska we still have ice on the lakes, but it's melting fast. I wish I could be there and cast a line in that pond. Anything that looks that good must surely have some dandy fish in it. Thanks for sharing.

    Tom,

I leave you to your fishing idea. I will just look at the scene. Thanks for your review. Our NY mountains are not as high as yours. Mount Marcy, our tallest, is only 5,344 feet.
