This cinquain-esque poem, Newness, has a familiar set up and defines the term in every line. I will have to find what this form is known as. A cinquain has a 2-4-6-8-2 framework.

Thanks Bill, I appreciate it! I know that the cinquain contest here on FanStory has the 2-4-6-8-2 syllable format, but I came across this form and it was also labelled a cinquain - it would be good to know if it has another name :) Best wishes, Debra
