We should not lament the death of young soldiers on the battlefield. Those who sacrifice their lives in the war are honoured in heaven. They have done something which an ordinary citizen can't do. They sacrificed their lives for the country. I liked your poem. Good luck!

Yes, it is easy to see that this poem comes straight from your heart. War sparks so much personal tragedy and it is only the kind of love that you describe as U S Army strong that keeps some vets going. Thanks for sharing this very personal poem.
