Sunni,
This is a great poem! How about we not talk about it. Lol
Priceless second line!!! Love it!
"*Millions upon billions of people scared shitless*
Nobody wants to believe the real numbers
Obligingly, everyone is swearing by science
When should we expect a return to normalcy?"
My answer - NEVER.
Great job on this,
AnnaLinda

You did a good job with this abc poem, Alicia. I like the color scheme and how you formatted the 1st words of each line. I don't like the last word of line 2, but I know your work, your choice.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

They appear to be soaring, India was claiming to be on top of the pandemic, and complacency took over, and now they being overrun, with not enough machines or oxygen to keep people alive, the death toll is 190,000, well done Alicia, blessings Roy

Hi Roy! I heard the news. It's terrible and they are the #1 manufacturer of pharmaceuticals globally. How are they not taking care of themselves... It's infuriating. Thank you. Stay safe and strong. God bless you :)

Extremely straightforward! and i.e why I love it. These are the exact thoughts of the masses which you have expressed efficiently. However, I felt there could have been a better choice of words. Nevertheless, It was a pleasant read.

Hi! Sorry. I couldn't find an appropriate word to replace it. And I don't even cuss. Hahahahaha. You're nice. Thank you. Stay safe and strong :)

These exact thoughts run through my thoughts on a daily basis. I liked how you used an honest and direct voice for this piece. It feels like the world will never be the same, let alone return to a state of normalcy. At the very least, I pray that at least the world can figure out a way to come together for future sake, preventing further chaos and lost.

That is the question we are all asking. I liked that you saved that for the last line. We can get so overwhelmed by this pandemic dragging on and now with new variants scaring us. I'm still hoping that by summer, we'll be almost normal. Let's keep hoping and praying! Great job with your ABC poem!
