Cute story about how you named your cats. I always tried to name mine, and my dogs, with similar characteristic ideas in mind, but sometimes my kids one out. We once had a cat named Trampoline Sexy Taco. Go figure. I was able to manage to get them to call him "tramp." :-) thanks for sharing. I was entertained.

I know what you mean about children naming them. We once had a Great Dane named Spock (pointy ears) and a smaller dog named Fast Ball (baseball season). hahahaha

Your picture for your story is adorable, Yvonne. They all are such happy little kitties as I know your fur babies are living with you. I loved reading about the great name choices you gave to your precious kitties. I like how you explained each one in a way that I could see the significance of their name. You handled the prompt well. Your lines flow smoothly with great details that create even greater imagery. I could see each little kitty being presented.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

You sure have your share of cats so obviously you love them. The various ways you dubbed them are quite entertaining. I too loved Morse, but I didn't know about his first name being 'Endeavor'. What a busy mom you are.

Amazing. My son, the one I lost a few years back to cancer had a black cat that he loved. Strangely, the cat was fond of him as well. I asked one day why he named him eleven thirty . The cat was solid black as he pointed to a white spot under his neck. See. not total midnight. You guys and you pet names for cats.
Very good write. I appreciate reading.

What a cute name for his cat. I'm sorry for your loss. As you know, I just lost my son in September. Doesn't get any better does it? Thanks for reviewing this. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, it is tough sometimes but we must go on. Yes, I liked your work.

This was absolutely great, Yvonne. I truly feel much closer (well in spirit) now that I understand the naming process and your cats names. It was so interesting how each cat got their name. I actually feel privileged. Well done.

It is so comical how are pets are named. My friend had two cats Pudge and Steve. She had a dream she got a black and white cat and named him Pudge. She set out to find one. He came with a brother, so she took both and has no idea where Steve came from. I had a white cat that was so ugly we couldn't name it Snowball or Fluffy, or any of the usual white cat names. We ended up calling him Misfit. I really enjoyed your story. Sally
