A well deserved winner that tells the rather sad tale of a ring's life. It shows that life has many paths and the one we choose can lead to either delight or despair. Beautifully written.

Your poem is excellent. For the most part your rhyme scheme and meter are synced very well. The content is endearing and interesting. In the last stanza your meter changes a bit due to the wordiness of the lines making it a bit awkward, and less smooth to read as the preceding stanzas. You may consider whittling that stanza down a bit.

The life of a wedding ring can live on for generations. Hopefully, it was melted down to make something wonderful and beautiful to start living for another family that will treasure its worth,

The words of this poem convey a life of love and companionship. It is life at its best. The ring was a token of their love and life together. It can be replaced but not the bond that made their lives worth living. No one can steal that away from them.
