I liked the idea behind this poem and thought you had some clever lines such as 'search for info what a mess' and 'hope the final number has a plus sign'. Just some personal opinions, please take them lightly: After the first stanza, I had been hoping for more rhyme which I think would have elevated the piece more. In the 2nd line of the first stanza 'time for you to pay', felt like a few syllables were missing. It's hard to describe, as I'm no expert on this stuff, but as an example, something like 'time for you to ante up and pay' I think would have 'flowed' smoother, if that makes sense.

Regardless, it's a fun piece and I wish you the best with it.

I have heard there are a few extensions. We've already filed ours and have the refund back. Thank you for sharing. Your poem was a joy to read, doing taxes, not so much. LOL
