(Ah, despicable you and not despicable you... this was entertaining. Really liked the cute intro to this, and the back and forth exchange giving the sense of one person pretending illness for gain... and the other falling right into the trap.)
A few things to maybe check out, if you like:

That picture was funny. But I'm sorry the guy was arrested for his practical joke. I guess no one has a sense of humor these days.

The title Kaleidoscope leads me to believe the character in this scene (though I don't know if he changes in other scenes) is duplicitous and changeable, like the experience of using a kaleidoscope where you get a different image with every turn. Like Evil Me.
