I like the story. It is sad that our country is becoming less safe.
Chicago is bad. New York lately is not any better... The crimes in subway are getting worse and worse everyday. Crazy people push people into the train track...

This story was fun to read because I live near Chicago, and listen to the police reports every day. I can almost believe a blind man getting a "seeing eye bear" to protect himself. Rod

Those bears are hard to tame but lovely and faithful if you treat them right ;)
The story is well written and reads easily, until a fun surprise ending... even if, of course, one could guess there was a bear in the picture.
