If I find my mind wandering, I'm either disinterested or just plain tired, but if ive found it absorbing beforehand, I'll go to bed, I've always tried to push through disinterest, but if that continues, I will put it to one side. Well done Liz, good scribing, blessings Roy

Personally, I hate authors/publishers (I never know who's responsible) who try to drag you into considering the next book when you're just sighing (we won't get into the emotion) over the end of the one you're reading. I like to spend hours in the bookshop happily choosing my next book unassisted, other than by my own senses.

Giving a book a chance when you are not immediately keen is the action of an avid reader. My Grandma would collect her weekly library books and read them all, even if she was not really keen on them. She had no TV and loved reading. I wish I had your patience, if a book does not grab me at the beginning it is doomed to stay on the shelf! I enjoyed your thoughts here Elizabeth, love Dolly x

I could not agree more. Some people/writers/ narrators make me crazy that way.
