Good word choices. Shows that not everyone likes you no matter what you do, but many will like you for who you are. Teaches good values and might make a good children's picture book.

Lovely piece of writing, and with a message of encouragement and positive outlook as well. You have successfully used the letter D so very well in this delightful story. Definitely a winner in my eyes. (Sorry, I should have written more words with D in my review!)

You did a great job with your contest entry, Mystery Author. I enjoyed reading it. The letter 'd' is showcased well. I believe all kids will enjoy this both young and not so young. The image choice is perfect, too. Your story has a great teaching moment for kids, too--be your self and accept others and they will likely agree that you are a friend in waiting and become your friend.
Best wishes.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Hello author of The new dog at daycare longs for friends.
about Daisy, The Digging Dog
I had to smile I had five dogs that love to dig and never knew what they were digging for
I was scratching my head wonder how I could say about your writing about Daisy that love to dig

Smiles I'm just going to copy of what you wrote in your ending
Daisy was deemed the "Digging Dog of Daycare." All the other dogs loved to dig with Daisy. Daisy always had a friend to dig with. Daisy's digging dreams developed into reality, and all Daisy had to do was be devoted to her Dalmatian-Doberman digging dog self.

Well... let me see ... what letter did you choose to put particular emphasis on? LOL, a good job you did for the kiddies. I only found a few words that were chosen for their D sound that would have been beyond the child's understanding. But there were only a few, and the delightful plot made up for them.

Thank you for your review. I considered the difficulty of the words, but I figured that's what their teacher or parents are for. Increasing vocabulary is important! Ha ha thanks again.

Well done. Who knew that so many words began with a "D" and you could compose a delightful story from them? If I had kids or grandkids here, I would love to share this story with them. Good luck in the contest.

Devastating discourse darned difficult to defeat. Definitely my declared darling at decision time. I don't know how you managed to keep this up for so long maintaining sense and story. Many congratulations!
