I have never been to Seattle. However, in this poem I feel I have a view into what it's like. I don't know if I could deal with that much rain. I really enjoyed reading this piece. It's always great to have favorite writers, and you are one of mine. Thanks for sharing.

You must be a born traveler. I enjoyed your tour of Seattle, the rains, the crocuses and those strange-looking geoduck clams! You appealed to all our senses of sight, smells, tastes, and sounds!

I lived in Seattle from 2006 to 2014. I moved after my first Masters degree for work. Not sure how my life fell apart. Thank you :)

Please excuse me for reviewing from my phone, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading your poem about Seattle. You've got so much wonderful imagery in this. I read your poem to my husband who is not into poetry...lol
I love your video of that singing bird also. He's still singing now.
Other than the rain...Seattle must be a beautiful place.

I lived between Elliot Bay and the Seattle Center for 7 years. I only went to Tacoma for the airport, SeaTac. Thank you :)
