hahaha.... well, you certainly made sure it wasn't a poem with this negative offering! It's capturing many votes and will probably win, thus confirming many share your opinion. Others will argue that it takes more skill to be succinct in expressing a poetic concept. My own opinion is halfway between the two - there are too many prompts on this site for the easy way out and poets are putting in lazy writing instead of flexing poetic muscle. I always appreciate someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously, and your humor is always welcome.

Hey, Lisa, hi. Thank you for the great review. Yeah, I usually like the challenge of saying a lot in just a few words. I just had to throw some fun at the prompt, like I do often. Lol. I seriously can't believe it took first place. That's just crazy. It seems whenever I write serious stuff it flops and when I come up with ridiculous crap I do better in the booth. So it evens out I guess. Lol. Now I have a little more play money to write more dumb stuff. I love it. Thank you again for the great review and stars, L. I'll catch you on the next go 'round.

Haha, I agree, Mystery Author. Your image plus your one line pair perfectly. It is one line--not a poem--one line, maybe some of the entries won't even be a complete sentence. Whatever floats their boats.
