I like both the picture and the poem. Whatever happens, we need to give the voting result a chance... We definitely had bad experience the last time when we voted in 2016. It turned out we are worse than where we were in 2016.
Let's hope we are going to get better...

You have used several examples of alliteration and onomatopoeia. The s's created the sense of hissing. It could also give the tone of disgust. You've also used allusion. These will draw the readers in. There is a sense of animation with an irony creating an example of juxtaposition.

I can identify with these words here and I know the dilemma of the Americans with this weak Government at the helm. Many people in Britain regret their vote and leaving Europe has been the worst mistake in British history, yet we are carrying on and limping along. The problems it has caused Brits who have bought properties abroad is immeasurable. Not to mention a whole host of other problems arising. The mix of Brexit and Covid has made life impossible recently. I was swanning along in life enjoying myself and suddenly everything changes virtually over night. I live in a very different world now, I enjoyed your 5-7-5 and I doubt Biden will see another term! Love Dolly x

I can identify with these words here and I know the dilemma of the Americans with this weak Government at the helm.
