"Follow the River" creates such struggling scenes for Jane that I could not stray from a single sentence. When she sees the soldiers I was surprised she didn't run to them for rescue, but her suspicion is understandable. I look forward to what happens next. Great job!

This is a great story, who doesn't want to hear someone triumphing against all the odds. Poor Little Deer, I would have loved to see her live, and in a sense, she and Running Deer, have Kept her alive for whatever mission God has left for her to accomplish, but could the men be dangerous, or is there a kindly, godly man among them? Beautifully written Stan, blessings Roy
