I had my first dose of Astra-Zeneca on the 4th February and I'll have my second dose on 22nd April. Us over 70 years of age will be having a third dose in September to carry us through the winter when it's bound to flare up again. Being asthmatic is a worry, so I'd definitely make sure I had my full doses. I've never had a problem with taking the vaccination nor has any of my friends and family. Having seen how awful it has been for those with the virus, and the after-effects they are suffering now, I wouldn't risk not having it. But, you're right, if the governments would tell the truth for a change, perhaps more people wouldn't be suspicious of taking it. :)) Sandra xx

I agree with you. I'm supposed to get my second shot on the 31st. But nobody has the vaccination. So I am set up for June 6th. I am being told it's within the window. I sure hope so. Thank you for sharing.

I think you speak for all those who are confused and doubting after all the so called experts keep changing their recommendations and test results. How can we trust them when one week they say its 79% effective and the next its only 76% effective? And why are case counts still going up when almost 25% are vaccinated? There's lots of things about this that don't make sense. A new virus and they had a test for it in a matter of days. And through it all the regular flu seems to have disappeared. To me, it seems 80% of the covid they are claiming to pick up could be regular flu. And its hard to believe they have vaccines in a matter of months when normally this takes years. And 95% effective to boot, when usually they are only about 50% effective. Its all media hype. estory

We have this Astra Zeneca vaccine's second dose after 12 weeks in UK. Being a British invention it will obviously recognise a British Arm when it starts circulating in one. It is specially programmed to kill off Frenchmen and Germans who want to ban it and prevent it from leaving Europe. In a game of tit for tat, Britain will stop the lipids (which it makes and are an essential ingredient of the vaccine) from leaving our shore so yah, boo, sucks to you Europeans. Its our ball and we are taking it home.
