That was superb imagery wrapped around powerful words. I could picture the droplets upon emerald, I could feel the thorns for Mom. And thank you so much for your insight on Renga.

Now that's a loving sacrifice of a little one to suffer the thorns of a rose to bring joy to the mother. I like the contrast of the blood red against the emerald meadow, both precious.
