You did a good job with your contest entry, Mystery Writer. I saw no evidence of racism, hate, or anything that you mentioned in notes. Your poem reads well with good rhymes, good flow, good action, and a great message. I believe young kids will enjoy it. It does depict how individuals in the same house sometimes react to what they believe is wrong when in actuality it is just a 'normal' thing. Best wishes.

The kid that still resides within, was hanging on every word. As a grandmother of sisters one 7 and the other 8 years old. I can't wait to have our meditation time and read this. They are as different as ones duality and this had something contained in the words that each will relate to. Love your writings!!

This is a great poem for children. The rhymes are clear and varied, the pace is good as is the story -scary (kids love that) along with total resolution (a required element so's kids don't stay scared). Especially, the 6 star is merited as you have brought home clearly the power and love of the mother. Outstanding!
