What a wild ride you have been one I am glad to read that you are now back to your writing. Autoimmune diseases run in my family too. Steroids for treatment can wreak havoc with your body.

I greatly appreciate that you writing contains a lot of references to places in Australia that are wheelchair and Zimmer frame friendly. We are getting there slowly, but, as a nation we have a long way to go.

Enjoy your Saturday. I hope to watch us Aussies win in the cricket ð???. Jacqueline

Not into cricket or football much but good luck. Found out the second autoimmune (Adrenaline Insufficiency)I thought I had was not necessarily AI but connected to the Low Acting Pituitary. I need to correct that. Thanks again!

This chapter of Geoff's Ramblings has people helping and succeeding get Louise out and all the drama that exists post Covid still in Australia. Whew.

Hahaha, Geoff, I had to laugh, when you wrote: I hope you are still awake. I assure you I am very much awake, and I'm sorry that you've had all those problems. I can understand why some people might have worried about your coughing.
It's good to see that Louise's younger brother does care about her. Ulla:)))

Thanks Ulla nice to have you along. I renewed for 2 years so still have that and another 5 months of the generous donor's contribution.

Yes, I have heard and seen pictures of the hordes of mice invading everything there. Today I saw a flock of 100 little birds died after eating the poisoned grain put out for the mice. You did a good job recounting Louise's adventures with her brother and family at times. I would not go on the ride mentioned early on--the one where the coal mining used to take place. I hope you are recovering from the cough and other aliments are in check. Take care.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Thanks, Jan for coming by. A lovely big review thanks. Get to your stuff soon. Tom said no more 2-year Memberships I just signed up on the yearly TWICE while the Aussie Dollar is showing up the Greenback a bit atm. At a risk of saying the wrong thing, I reckon the greenback has fallen since Biden got in but oh well. Thanks again.

It's so wonderful that Louise has her caregiver and brother who suggest taking her on outings. A change of scenery is always good for boosting the spirits. If you have a mouse plague, what you need is plenty of cats. It's good you're getting prepared for them. I can understand Louise enjoying her trips more without so many relatives present. judi

Thanks Judi for understanding about Louise's outings and not having heaps of reli's along. Just an aside we keep visitors to small groups here. Reason is often while they are supposedly visiting US...more time is spent with them visiting with the other visitors. Sounds a bit of a whinge or in your part a whine, I guess. I added a link to my poem on my walker if you had not seen it in the other chapter about the train trips.

You're very welcome. I believe I've seen your poem about the walker. judi

I'm sorry it took so long to read your post. I was in the middle of it when my power went out. It was out for six hours. A huge tree fell across my driveway just a few minutes after I drove up. I could be dead not. The Lord was looking after me. I enjoyed catching up with your family. Louise had a nice day but you're had an awful time. I'm so glad the cough is better. I go to read you next ramble. I'm sorry I'm out of sixes.

Geoff,

Oh, my! Sounds like there is never a dull moment there. It is good to hear that you are both well and happy. And I am really pleased Covid has not kept you locked up completely.

I am off now to read the other post!

The story contains a lot of detail and description of things going on with Louise. I like that you explained some of these things in your notes with links and external references. As this is the first section I have read, I'm not qualified to comment on it totally as a standalone piece. However, I did not notice any typos or grammatical errors. Thanks for sharing. Hugs and blessings to you.

Hi Sankey,

I see we got two posts today. In this one, Louise had several chances to get out on trips again. I'm glad she's not afraid to try, and that she has family members that care enough about her to see she has some fun.

Sorry to hear about your health issues, but so glad your flu was of the normal type! Funny what happened on the train. Coughing is scary these days. I'm glad they found out what caused yours.

Have a great rest of your week,
Rhonda
