I loved the subject matter
and the way your thought process flowed. The only place that I got caught up is in the description of how you "did" your food. Perhaps a words such as prepared or bought and cooked would have made for an easier transition. This is only my opinion. I think you did a great job. Good luck in the contest!

A very good look at how much children depend on their parents, but the greatest thing a parent can teach a child is to become independent. We raise them to let them go.
