This is a tribute Mr. Frost would truly appreciate. I like how you put us on the bus with the school boy whose memories of people and places will stay with him a lifetime. Especially noteworthy is your snapshot of the "screened-in woman drinking wine" who throws the boy a candy. A nice blend of rhyme and Frost's own words. I, too, love "Birches" and used to have my students memorize "Road Not Taken" or "Stopping By the Woods."

Both on my favorites list! I also love "Reluctance" and my kids make fun of me when I recite the part about the "leaves are all dead on the ground, save those that the oak are keeping, to ravel them one by one, and send them out scraping and creeping while others are sleeping." I love it. Thanks so much for reviewing!

Nothing Gold Can Stay is one of my favorite Frost poems-though I have so many. This is a fine tribute and one that you can be proud of. I especially like:

That boys and dogs and wine and golden field
Acquaint me with those treasures not yet brown.

All four of those treasures are indeed eternally alive! Nice work.
