Thanks for the review. My mom just loved this one. She really was the best mom I could ever hope for.
In Canada back in the 1950's, the gov't wanted women to take a pill for morning sickness and my mom refused. Many babies were born with tiny arms because of that medicine. Thalimide, something like that. My mom researches everything and is 93 years old, no pains, full hair, teeth, always happy and curious, sews like an expert (wedding dress and costumes for me) walks freely every day. She really takes care of herself with good food and her top secret? ....
bone broth.

It's wonderful that you still have her...Both of my parents passed on years ago...I miss them dearly. See her as much as you can. That would be my advice to you.

I loved reading about your Mom and your wonderful childhood. She sounds a really special character, and you've captured how you honour her through your words, especially in the final stanza:
I am my Mother's daughter,
in my eyes right to my core.
She made my life so wonderful,
I could not love her more.
