I mentioned my campervan in the course of my last review. It would have fitted in there easily, but then i didn't have the luxurious living your monster gives you.

LOL, thank you so much Jim for reviewing and your kind comments, yes it is a monster, now that we don't have a large dog I keep suggesting we try something smaller.
-
Driving at a lower level you would miss the views. Large dog? I thought you needed enough room to swing a cat!

LOL the views are indeed splendid. Large dog? We had to have Sallie our 13 year old dog put down last year, so now we just have the 16 year old cat. We were wise enough to not try to introduce another dog until she goes.

Hooray! I'm so happy that you're continuing your saga from your traveling life! Also, so glad you can get your medical appointments, too. What an ordeal to face so much mud in one day. I hope you get a refund!
Some comments:
parked it in the neighbors drive. (neigbor's)
This sentence confused me a little.
We hooked up the car and [were] on our way.
were we will handle (where)

I thouth that all ladies liked mud, Alie, why I"ve seen it smeared on their faces and seen them wrestle in that slimy wet dirt. :) Yet, I know what it means to get stuck and no matter how hard you try to get out it still embraces you in it's muddy arms. Thank you for sharing.

Alie,
How on earth could the park owner or manager mistake a pull-through for a backing-in? Answer -- they couldn't. They just didn't care? That is so frustrating. You know they know their campers have come a long way and are ready to park and CHILL. Ugh. And then to not answer their calls or even be present when y'all arrived? I mean I understand there's not always someone there - but it still makes me mad for y'all. Probably more mad than y'all were. hahaha
Notes:
1.) the now empty site next to ours and ask(ed if) we could have some in our site.
2.) Of course, it rained overnight on Friday, but then when had it not been raining.
--> can you edit to make this more clear?
3.) And as a side note, I always advise people to 'tell it in order'. This piece starts out kinda crooked. So far, you are not telling things in order and it makes for a compromised story and an easily confused reader. Just a thought?
4.) We hooked up the car and (got) on our way.
--> but wouldn't you have hooked up the camper, too?
5.) Then he called other par(k)s in the area, most were booked up
Thanks. I'm so glad you have a kind heart and a great sense of humor. Hugs-

It's a horrid thing mud, we were once caught up to our axles in the usual desert, outback regions of Australia, but thanks to the bushcraft talent of our friends, we escaped after torrential rain, (rarely happens out there) so I know what it's like, well done, great adventure. Blessings Roy
