Love this story, LOVE it. I'm a punctuation nerd, as some writers on this site bemoan. Your essay was so well put it should be required reading for everyone who thinks they are a writer or a novelist just because they've put words on the screen.

This is a well delivered lesson. I know from experience that some writers can get a little put out when a comma is suggested. Your examples at the end, regarding placement of commas defining the meaning of the sentence are excellent tutorials.
