Dear jay, I love your poetry, with each post comes a lot of wisdom and good advice. This particular poem is very specific, because it talks about the physical illnesses that WILL come about because of your attitude, and how it can hurt your heart physically. Doctors tell their patients this, all the time, BUT maybe because you have written it in a poem, it will get through, to those who need it.

I went through a depressed period when every slight and comment broke me. It was a heavy load to carry and I was not a pleasant person to be around. A wise friend told me by not letting that negative stuff go, by not forgiving, I was punishing only myself. Now, your poem sums up my attitude about life! I appreciate your positive and well rhymed poem of advice.
You state anger is bad, but it can be quite powerful as well.
We see that with Jesus in the temple turning over the
money changer's tables and calling well deserved hypocrites
snakes and white washed tombs. Yes, I guess it's unforgiveness
that's the real problem.

"fear and anguish turned on you."

Fear is definitely an enemy...now propagated upon us by our government
and overlords.

Pity I was not created to just put on a smile...It would be much easier for me. I guess I'll be thankful and grateful for the call I do have...A reality call...Sounding the trumpet of the sword upon our land and souls.
