Another poem with great advice. You know well the makings of our bodies and how hatred plays a part in the downside of health. Joy and smiles take us further than frowns and scowls.

Oh yes indeed, it's rather pointless hanging on to old resentments, they simply mean, they do you harm, than the object of those resentments. Beautifully written my friend, in sonnet like tetrameter, blessings Roy

A heart full of love and joy has no room for spite or hate. Our life will be one of happiness - and it will overflow onto others along the way. Too much energy is wasted on negative feelings. And it is bad for your health. Thanks for sharing these words of wisdom.

If you smiles the whole world smiles with you my Grandpa used to say. If you go around with a sour puss you will no doubt have a bad day. Even just on smile can make a persons day better in a lot of ways.
