I like the following paragraph the most. "If you hold hatred in your heart, you will become both sad and blue. Turn loose, there's nothing you can gain, but fear and anguish turned on you." The author is correct. Hatred creates chaos.
I like the ending part of the poem which says: "Just start each day with many smiles- They will carry you further miles." Smiling brings happiness.

Yes, I believe it drains you of energy to feel hate, revenge, and resentment. While it can be hard to overcome, finding happy things to celebrate can redirect your emotions to something more mentally and spiritually healthy.
