Life is so fast and anything can happen at any moment, but I feel you had beautiful moments to remember and to focus on that. thank you for sharing it was a honor to read your work. I hope for the best in the contest

This is beautiful and timely. It goes in a very different direction than other entries I have read for this contest, and tells a bittersweet narrative that has heart. It appears to meet all the requirements of the competition as well. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the competition.

A very interesting take on the prompt. None of it seems forced and the mandated words just slide into their spots. Although you say this is a child's point of view, I think it could be anyone's.
