Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Oh, I really like this poem because when it is all said and done, we are all people under whatever banner we cast ourselves - I've often said that I could have a nasty argument with anyone, but if they left the building and got into an accident, I'd be the first there to help, because it's just the right thing to do. Good luck in the contest. Rdfrdmom2

Gosh--I'm seeing stars this morning! Thank you, Rdfrdmom2.

The hope for me is the (maybe) naive feeling that we all have a persistent thread of goodness that's woven into our being. Stitching those priceless threads together is the elusive trick I guess. This poem's just an observation that given the right cause, no matter what embellishments have been added to our enduring strong fabric of goodness, we want to do the right thing.

Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

Hopefully this will be solved soon and America will be great again:"merica has paused
a small cause at the intersection
where politics dies replacing
all our cares with this bloody
affair melting into pools
of red under a blue
sky we are this land
beyond words on tee shirts
and
our strength will endure"

Thank you, Iza. We're working on it! Our politics just has too many adjectives lately.
