Yes, catching snow flakes on your tongue is a fun childhood thing to do.
Though drip drop drip sounds more like iciles melting at the possible start of Spring than a snowy day.

Interesting! Having grown up In one of the snowiest places in the north , I remember
Trying to catch snowflakes on my tongue., but never dripping icicle. What a fun sight that must be.
