As a grandmother who is seven decades older than her grandsons, I see the obvious similarities with the need for depends, but now that my legs are giving out and it's a long way to sit down without plopping, an even older friend showed me the portable booster seat his wife made him With a block styrofoam . I love mine!

It's true that our children are what we teach them to be. Show them the wrong ways to live and talk and that's what they will become. The Pampers to Pull-ups, that's how we begin our lives and that's also how most leave. We go full circle. Well done, a fascinating true story. Good luck! :)) Sandra.

I was reminded of the Similarities between a New Born and Aging when on a Store Visit my Wife and I had grabbed both Our Grandson's Parent's Choice Diapers and some Adult Depend's to be placed in our Shopping Cart. I feel that society forgets these two groups most...children and people who have lived full lives. They are the most important people in our world.

As a grandmother, I really enjoyed this. I, too see a great deal of similarities between the aging and the young. Not so bad, really. All the best to you.

Interesting poem and clever concept. I enjoyed reading it, although I found some of the rhymes awkward and the random capitalization of words distracting. Good luck in the contest.

We sometimes forget how much our own choices as parents and grandparents affect the way our children speak and act. Your poem is a timely reminder and one that may raise questions in some minds.
