Should this not be posted in the poetry section? It is after all a poem, whatever its subject. As a poem I thought that derailment was a very good metaphor for the feelings of a potential suicide.

Great poem. You've really captured the desperation of someone who feels out of control. The train analogies really work.
I'm not sure you needed to explain the definition of breakdown.

I noticed by falling a horror and nonfictional writer her name is Meir Sayers.
And, that she puts in great lengthy editors notes which brings more definition to the work.
but then again we all have our own particular way presenting?
