After the death of my first son twenty three years ago, I found it very therapeutic to write to God, using the means of communication that I find best. I have to weigh my words and put thought more than emotion into them. Never trled poetry. You inspired me to try.

I do appreciate your read and your take on my poem/letter is right on the money. I try but often fail in faith but am not giving up. My 43 year old daughter died suddenly leaving a now 8 year old and a twenty year old three years ago. It was hard and still is to keep the faith. I gried and ask why this needless loss.
BUT, I am relying on God despite this that I don't understand. My sincere sympathy to you. I am feeling with you.

I?m so sorry to hear of your loss. It?s tough. We also lost a 39 year old son. But God is there and always will be.

This is a very lovely and delightful poem--well-composed, moving, sincere, and vividly descriptive of a Christian mindset, acknowledging the Lord's unique love and understanding of the "letter writer."

Your best friend entry is adorable and your reference to "post" with rain and sleet was fun.

Beautifully written expressing your love for God on high. It is spoken from your heart and tells us all that you have a close relationship with our Lord. I believe He heard your heart and is pleased.
