A sweet remembrance here. We must be the same age. Although I was not brought up in church, my mother always bought us a full outfit for Easter Sunday. To this day, I'm not sure why. We did have egg hunts and pound cake, a Georgia staple. Always lemon pound cake. A delightful read, dear estory. Sal XOs....

Thanks for the excellent review and I love hearing about all these personal memories people are sharing because of the piece. This is a big part of what I am trying to do; create a sense of a shared experience through memories of places and times we have all experienced in different places around the world. estory
