I like the picture and I like the title of "Strife."
The words of this poem are well chosen: "In a life, why do
we only call out to God in our time of strife?"

The only answer this poem offers is that God has to be available for us to call upon him, when all else either has failed, or looks about to fail. It is a truism in one sense as, in a time of crisis such as war, the churches fill up. This current Coronavirus crisis might be considered as disproving this, but only because we are not permitted to gather together under one roof. You can bet there is some heavy praying going on these days, even among the non-praying classes.
