I like the art work you choose to go with your poem, they are a perfect match
you captured my attention from the first line to the last
as long as we follow His step we will be okay.

A gentle reminder to us all! I know I would never have made it down the road of life with all its potholes and such if God had not carried me so many miles. Remembering and being thankful should definitely be an everyday occurrence for all. Thank you for sharing.

I enjoyed reading your faith contest entry. I always helps to be brought up in a Christian home. We still need to form our own relationship with God, but I think it's easier when we have an example. Good luck with the contest.

    Thank you for reviewing this and for you nice comments. Yes, it easier if you were taught as a child to rely on God. You do have to form your own relationship. It helps looking back over you life to remember ways God has worked that you may have forgotten.

More than once in my life I have wondered and pleaded "why me, God?" But when I just turn it over to Him without question, I do not get a reason for Why me, but I do get the peace of mind to accept it. Your words are very reassuring .

This is a beautiful hymn of faith! Loved your use of the ballad form to affirm your faith, giving thanks for the faith taught by your mother and thanking God for His Presence with you all your life. Best wishes in the contest!
