I'm glad you had fun watching the game (or part of it :) with your husband.
I thought you were going to say, however, though in a light-hearted way, of course, that you were a bit "the worse for wear." a bit "mussed" from all his gyrations and arm waving etc. Glad you emerged in one piece.

Thank you, Katharine, for your lovely review. Yes, the game was somewhat entertaining, but of course my husband's antics were more amusing, by far. It was certainly a challenge to stay out of his way!
Jorge is also a very active sleeper, so I do occasionally get smacked in the head by an elbow, or even his hard head. If I'm using my cellphone after dark, I have to hang onto it, or it could get knocked out of my hand. But it seems that I've been unwittingly rough on him, also... he said that I once landed a karate-chop across his forehead, in my sleep!
Altogether, it's remarkable that we never had to go to the ER, due to careless, jerky movements on the part of each other, but I guess we've been blessed that way. Thanks so much, my friend, and may God bless you.

I am not a football fan either, though my husband is almost a fanatic. From what I here for other football fans. a lot of people don't like Tom Brady. I hope you didn't get too banged up from your husband's cheering.

Thank you for the wonderful six-star review! You are absolutely right, the biggest takeaway from this is not sports related, but all about the importance of sharing time with our loved ones and doing something special with our spouses.

I liked this poem! The flow was pretty good and the rhythm was spot on. I especially enjoyed the use of the word "vociferous" as it really sells just how excited your husband is. It in indeed an interesting word and used very well to convey not just feelings, but movement as well. Again, loved it, well done

I only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials and half-time show.

I Love this Rhyming Poem for the Contest you Chose a Winner also. My Son's have been Tom Brady Fans going way back. My favorite was Payton Manning last team before retirement was Denver Broncos. Well done in telling the Super Bowl in excellent rhyme.
I enjoyed the read even though my husband and I would only watch a football game if we were tied to a chair and our heads wrapped up so we could only look forward and our hands cannot reach the remote.

That was very funny ;-) I am actually such a weak sports fan, that I have occasionally said that if sports were to vanish from the earth, I wouldn't miss them (with the exception of my husband's agony over their absence). However I do think they play a vital role in our civilization, and I am convinced that we would have more wars, if we didn't do so much fighting on the playing field!
