I think this poem is deserving of a top spot in the contest. You capture the feelings of anxiety very well. I am so glad you shared this with us. The line: Anxiety is such a scourge, it takes your breath away is so telling.

I only those with anxiety could realize the cost to them of this anxiety. There is so much help out there for those who suffer and much of that is holistic, not medicated.

Thanks for reading. You are right of course, some people can't tolerate medicine and holistic remedies should be tried. The main thing is to get help. Thanks again for reading. :)

This poem is a true expression of the stressful times we are currently living in. Many suffer from fear and anxiety. Your poem has a smooth, easy to read rhyming pattern throughout with artwork that pairs perfectly. Best wishes in the contest.

As you say in your poem here anxiety has been made worse by Covid as so many people are isolated and not able to share their troubles with anyone, it has been a stressful time for everyone and anxiety cases have risen, a poignant write, love Dolly x

"I suffer from it too". We can all relate to this incredibly difficult emotion, which is by choice, of course, yet hard to stop once the wheel is spinning. You capture it well.

I'm glad I did not enter this contest. My poem would not hold up to yours.
This is a great poem. It met the requirements of the contest. It was an even rhythm throughout the poem. It had a very nice flow. The wording was excellent. The picture was a nice choice for the emotion you chose. I had no suggestions to make this poem better. So, I gave you six stars.
