Definitely a fun metaphor for the contest here. :) I would suggest that in such a limited format the use of punctuation and even capitalization takes the reader's focus from your words and meaning... But what a warm way to view the snow, yeah? ;) :) Thanx so very much for sharing and best of luck to you at the polls! ;) :)

Beautiful word choice. Manages to give imagery without needing many words. Also the image that accompanies the words fits so well and is gorgeous. Good luck in the competition!
