This six-line poem, The Signs Are Clear, has the required lines and seems to show the signs of a weakening resolve to press on with loss being too great.

Wow, a very emotional offering here with the edges of broken heart still very jagged indeed... Although there is a mixture of rhyme and not, it is still a very intriguing offering... thanx so much for sharing and best of luck to you at the polls! ;)

A nice optimistic poem showing a person's realization that there is no more need to despair over the loss of someone; determination to break free from emotional chains, the challenge to replace grief with smiles and hope.
Very well written, good imagery and visuals - you brought out well that there IS hope for those who are emotionally struck by failed relationships - challenge is to engage your will power and strength.
Nicely written - good luck in the contest.

Your poem cries sadness, discretion, and desperation. Now we look through the window and wait for better days of freedom. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings and with the contest.

I do like this, however the first line throws me off a bit, doesn't flow as nicely as the rest to me. I feel like it could use some changes in vocabulary used. Otherwise, bravo.

Such a sad poem...but as the image shows, still hopeful in nature. If this about you, all the best to you in your life pursuits. This poem will resonate with many after this last year, so many revelations is so many relationships. The best of luck to you in this contest!

This is a clear and simple approach which works because it hinges on the question of when we give up hope. There is a resignation that is sad but so relatable to how we feel when all seems dark.
