Hi Geoff, I'm so glad that you can now walk safely again. And I loved the bag as well. Great design and with a few wee pockets. Walking is so important if you possibly can. I know Louise can't but that's a different issue all together. Here it's going very badly. I only go working the land, thank God I have that, and food shopping once a week. And then my writing. Always the writing. What is also lucky is the mild climate where I live. I can be outside on my terrace most days.

Thanks mate. Hope you are reading Beth Shelby her latest chapter talking about the big old house they bought might be of interest to you. Bet you are pleased with Denmark's new law that preachers have to submit their sermons to the Government. Freedom of Speech definitely going out the window internationally.

I didn't know that. Don't follow the news there a lot, although I have close family and friends there.I have to look that up. It sounds strange to me I have to admit.

Seems they are worried the preachers might criticise them or something. Been enjoying some train videos from Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden and Germany. Learned Sweden was Neutral in WWII same as Switzerland but Sweden let the Nazy war machine pass through their country. Hypocrits ha!

That is something that has never been forgotten. Thousands and thousands of Norwegians lost their lives because of that.
Then again, the Swedes sheltered all the jews that Denmark rowed over to them in the midlle of the night. That was maybe their way of making up. No Danish Jew ended up in a gas chamber. It was a massive operation that the Danish population took upon themselves. Rescuing the Jews right under the nose of the Nazis.

Thanks for the history lesson. There are elements that would like the Holocaust from history - make that it is some sort of fable! WRONG! God Bless the Danes.

I know, hence the 4th of July is much celebrated in Denmark.When I was much, much younger sometimes the American president in office was present alongside the danish Monarch. All to say thank you for what we did.

Your poem was true to your heart and well written. Odes to walkers are deserved -- we infirm and seniors know. When my husband was in rehab following a crushed leg, I bought him a caddy with lots of pockets that attached to the bed. I can't remember what it was called; I may have even searched Amazon for bed saddlebag. In any case, once he was out of a wheelchair and using a walker, we found it attached nicely to the front of his walker. Happy walking!

Thanks Susan, not sure if we met before your name sort of rings a bell. Everyone is noticing how much better I am walking now as well. I have a few videos taken by my sweetheart of me walking.

So ,so glad that you are able to get out and ramble along with your new buddy Wally. Being combined for one reason or another is upsetting to say the least. Everything is so expensive no matter where one lives.So glad you are happy to be free to walk again, God Bless you both!

Hey old friend, where have you been? I have not seen anything from you in YEARS. Did you know Beth Shelby years ago, she is back and I just heard JoanE has died! AMEN Bro He sure is. My Aged Care would have paid for one from an approved supplier but I loved this walker bag so much. The Government paid for the walker anyhow. Everyone has commented my walking has improved with "Wally" - only named him yesterday. Lord Bless you dear Bro.
