An interesting story, and a well written one. It was pleasing that Casper was accepted as he was, tumour and all, yet it must have been difficult for him. A unique person became just like everybody else after his operation - which was doubtless what he had wanted, but others mourned the passing of his difference. Interesting thoughts about acceptance and self-acceptance are raised.

This is an interesting story about a small town up north. Enjoyable read. I have to admit, I got a little lost in the first sentence because it's so long. That's a bad place to get lost when you're trying to pull in an audience.
But otherwise, very nice.
