O doubt we are there at the very door of these things. The AntiChrist will be able to seize power so effortlessly and the co troll of those already given to his kingdom with this kimd of tracking technology. I believe it will all eventually go into the person's right hand or forehead as the scriptures warn, not being able to buy or sell... travel without it. Those who say no will be killed. Scary and scarier as we see this is vastly approaching. I feel the Rapture is near and as soon as it happens, the new world order will demand a one world government and leader. The AntiChrst will be ready... as it is written....
My brother thinks the AntiChrist is a robot, he is not. He will be a tech wizard though.

Superb, insightful offering.

Sending you my best today as always,
Sal XOs...

Thanks so much for the excellent review and all your interesting comments and perspective. I think you are pretty spot on. And I am glad the poem and this series are so compelling enough that it has generated plenty of spirited discourse and lots of theories...Its always great to inspire people to think. estory

Your piece resonates with some wonderful images. I want to see it framed with a larger font and sone expressive colors. The small font and gray do not pair with your wonderful words.

Where did you see this:
Virtual reality live streamed on the podcasts

Or I didn't even realize it. I do listen to Lex Fridman's AI podcast a lot. His guests do talk about aliens a lot like Avi Loeb, a Harvard physics professor. He thinks "oumuamua" is an alien object, not just a rock.

ARKK investing's CEO Cathy Wood thinks "Virtual reality" technology will pick up soon after many years of slow progress.

You summed up technology very well with your couplet in the end.

Thanks again for the six star review and your comments on the piece. I am not a big fan of tech, I still don't have a cellpone, and this about all I do on the computer. Never use Amazon or Apple. Real life for me. estory

This is so true. Humans were technology zombies before the pandemic. And now the boredom has really excelled the reliance on technology.
I order to escape from the robots in our worlds often and get it touch with nature.
This part is great: explaining the mysteries of the universe until
there is nothing mysterious left about it.

Thanks so much for the excellent review and your wonderful comments and perspective on the piece. I am glad it made you think of the darker side of technology and how it hollows out the world, life in general. Reduces it to a common denominator of logic. estory

I don't know what I would have done in the lockdown without technology, it kept me in touch with my family and made me feel less alone in a world of isolation, but it does have its pitfalls too which you mention here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Thanks so much for the excellent review and your interesting perspective on the piece. Technology can be a blessing, in some ways; but overall I think it is bad for people. There is this possibility of connecting with people, like here on this site, sharing things, but also there is a hollow ring to it, a dead pan logic underneath it all, and a sinister side. All these social media site collect data on you, compile it and sell it to advertisers. I don't like it. estory

This is so good, E. Right from the opening line, to the last one which combine to make, is this the end, this technology.

Strong references to Revelations, and while it might not be the end it sure should be a wake up call.

Superb poem and the streaming effect works well. :))

Thanks for the excellent review and I think you got exactly what I was trying to say here. Beware the all encompassing environment of tech, its ability to control you, organize you, compile and market you. It has become, in many ways, our god. Alive, but dead. estory

So what you are thinking is that the beasts we read about in Revelations,
are metaphors for what we are actually experiencing now with technology?
It makes a lot of sense. I was thinking, the dragons represented China.
I suppose we all have our own translations about what that is all about.
You might be interested in a book called "The Lambs Supper" by Scott Hahn.

Thanks for the excellent review and your interesting perspective on this piece. I think you got exactly what I was trying to say. The beast that lives, even though it is dead, is the computer and the second beast is the cell phone, proceeding from the first beast, that all men worship. It connects us artificially, while Christ connects us spiritually, hence the designation 'Anti Christ.' I also thought your take on the dragon image from Revelation interesting, and i have been thinking about that. God often used animal symbols as metaphors for nations. estory

Wow...so true.
I like the way this is written,
and it certainly explains a lot,
doesn't it?
Another thing I found fascinating
in the book of Revelation...when John
said, referring to Christ's return...
'All eyes shall see Him.'
I wondered how he could have come up
with that, way back then, and how puzzled
people who've read that through the ages
must have been.
It's only recently that we now have these
cellphones, that can do that. Amazing.
I look forward to your next chapter!
Blessings...

This poem, Apocalypse, brings the prophesy of the Bible into the realities around us today. Whether these are the shadows shown in biblical texts.

Thanks for the excellent review and I think you got exactly what I was trying to do here. This is it, in a nutshell, and I hope to shake a few people up but I am surprised at the popularity of this, given how depressing these opening chapters are. estory

Hi estory, as always, your subjects are amazing, and the notes that go with it as well. But this time, however, I was taken off...there is nothing nice or noble about those channels, I am thinking of those kids...

Thanks for the excellent review and your perspective on the piece. I am trying to show the darker side of technology here, not silver lining it at all. These are dark images of a hollowed out, sensationalized world estory
