Wow! You take your readers to a "Toon planet" where it is hard to come back!! I found myself identified in your descriptions as you progress in your poem, Many of them were part of my childhood as well. Nice rhyming and good you marked in bold what you wanted to "invite" to your writing. The artwork is definitively a Great choice!! I still have pending my project of draw my own toon!!

I am a hard core fan of cartoons. I like best those that are more adult in nature. What I mean by that is, in the spirit of the cartoons made in the 30s, 40s and 50s. I like toons that had an adult edge to them with jokes that often fly right over youngsters heads. Bugs was my favorite in this. In more modern time Pinky and the Brain, Ren and Stimpey get the nod. And let us not forget or neglect, The Simpsons.

Oh, this was really cute! You went through the list of most famous and most loved cartoons from the 60s right up to now. When you love them all, it's hard to pick a favorite, so I think you should be forgiven for not "playing favorites." :-)

We should never give up our appreciation for good, clean humor where we can laugh at ourselves or animals acting like us. As a kid, I loved Mickey Mouse and Mighty Mouse (probably way before your time). Popeye always saved Olive Oil. This poem was humorous and well written with easy flowing rhymes. Best wishes in the contest.
