Hmm...time is tricky... you can stop a watch, but time just runs away! I enjoyed this one very much! I think this is a lovely entry for the contest!!

A very well presented contest offering with a sprinkling of rhyme to add a bit of intrigue - well done! ;) I would suggest that there is a bit of over-use of punctuation here for such a limited format... you should allow the line breaks to be your 'pause' and not use so many commas... :) Love your chosen first/last line! :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! :)
